Description:
There are many barriers to insurance payment for these services. Some barriers are based on provider roles, some are built into the process, some are intrinsic to the dynamics of care. This presentation helps turn the barriers into gates so patients can access care.

• Participant will identify principles of appropriate coding for physicians and ARNPs providing services to hospice and palliative care patients
