Description:
This course provides a guideline for effective problem solving and discusses common obstacles, scope of practice, critical thinking, informed consent, decisional capacity, boundaries, policies & procedures, and team education. Challenging case studies are provided.

Objectives:

• The learner will list 3 common obstacles Social Workers face when addressing challenging cases
• The learner will discuss scope of practice as it applies to challenging cases
• The learner will demonstrate the application of one problem solving model to challenging cases.
