This module reviews basic principles of pain assessment and
management in infants, children, and adolescents with a focus
on pain in palliative care.
Objectives:
- Identify barriers to adequate pain relief in palliative
care.
- List components of a thorough pain assessment.
- Describe pharmacological and non-pharmacological
therapies used to relieve pain.
