Description:
In order to be a "Great Hospice Social Worker" it is important to have an understanding of the core components that make up our role. This course, for social workers at any career level,  is designed to provide an overview of the components required to move beyond "standard practice" to exceptional end-of-life care Social Work.

Objectives:

• Participant will discuss 3 national trends that create obstacles for more effective Social Work intervention.
• Participant will list the core functions of Social Workers in end-of-life care roles.
• Participant will explain the application of the roles to daily Social Work practice.
